Shipping Policy – Rare Cigars
Rare Cigars is committed to processing and shipping orders promptly and securely. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.
1. Order Processing
- Orders for in-stock items are typically processed within 1–2 business days.
- Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends or holidays.
- Processing times may be extended during high-demand periods.
2. Shipping Methods & Delivery
- Orders are shipped via trusted third-party carriers (e.g., USPS, UPS, or FedEx).
- Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed.
- Once an order has been shipped, Rare Cigars is not responsible for carrier delays.
3. Shipping Rates
- Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on location and selected service.
- Promotional or flat-rate shipping may be offered at our discretion.
- International shipping rates are subject to increases as a result of location, or package size or value.
4. Risk of Loss
All orders are shipped FOB Shipping Point. Ownership and risk of loss transfer to the customer once the package is handed off to the carrier.
Rare Cigars is not responsible for:
- Lost or stolen packages marked as delivered
- Incorrect shipping addresses provided by the customer
5. Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information.
If a package is returned due to:
- Incorrect address
- Failed delivery attempts
The customer may be responsible for additional shipping charges.
6. Lost or Delayed Shipments
If your package appears lost in transit, please contact us. We will assist in filing a claim with the carrier where applicable.
7. Weather & Storage Disclaimer
Cigars are sensitive to environmental conditions. Rare Cigars is not responsible for issues caused by:
- Extreme temperatures
- Improper storage after delivery
We recommend promptly bringing shipments indoors and storing cigars in a proper humidor.
8. Shipping Restrictions
Rare Cigars does not ship to locations where the sale or shipment of tobacco products is restricted or prohibited.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure compliance with local laws.
9. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
The customer is solely responsible for any customs and taxes applied to their order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer. If you reject your package due to customs fees please direct them to "return the package to sender." Once we have received the returned package and find all the items in good condition we will issue you a refund minus the total cost of shipping and a 25% restocking fee.
